Mazatlan team news

Panamanian forward Yoel Barcenas will not return to action before October due to a knee injur.

Midfielder Nicolas Benedetti will be eligible for selection despite being sent off in the San Diego loss as red cards from the Leagues Cup do not carry over to Liga MX.

Either Anderson Duarte or Fabio Gomes will lead the line, and Ricardo Gutierrez will return in between the sticks.

Tijuana team news

Just like Mazatlan’s Benedetti, Ramiro Franco will be available for selection despite being sent off in the Sounders defeat.

Tono Rodriguez is in line to be reinstated in goal, while midfielder Frank Boya remains a doubt with a knock.

The likes of Leonardo Vargas, Shamar Nicholson and Adonis Preciado will be in contention to feature in attack.
