Liga MX’s invincibles

The Apertura 2025 tournament is well underway, with four matchdays already in the books. Following a pause for the Leagues Cup group stage, domestic action has resumed – and only four of the 18 Liga MX clubs remain undefeated.
Which Liga MX teams are unbeaten?
Cruz Azul, Club América, Pachuca and Tigres are the only teams yet to suffer a loss. Among them, Pachuca stands out as the early leader, sitting atop the table with 12 points after winning all of their matches so far.
That means just two of Mexico’s so-called “Big Four” – América and Cruz Azul – are off to strong starts. And while three of the unbeaten teams have at least one draw, Pachuca has taken full points in every outing, giving them a clear edge in the standings.
Querétaro’s anniversary turns sour
On the opposite end of the spectrum, Querétaro is enduring a nightmare campaign – despite celebrating their 75th anniversary this season. The Gallos Blancos have yet to earn a single point, sitting dead last in the table with four straight losses.
Juárez and Puebla are just above them, having managed to scrape together points through draws. But unless Querétaro can turn things around quickly, they’re on track to be one of the worst-performing teams of the tournament.
